13288 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: If the proposal to expand the workforce by creating a new 'assistant psychologist' role goes ahead, how will the minister attract clinical psychologists to taking on supervision of 'assistant psychologists'?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand is in the early stages of scoping this work. The need to grow clinical psychology roles, including for supervisory work, will be a key part of the planning process.
