13287 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Will the minister look at providing extra financial support to universities, with view to develop the proposed expansion of the workforce with the creation of the 'assistant psychologist' role, if not, why not?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand is in the early stages of scoping work to develop an assistant psychologist role, and that any funding implications will be considered as part of the planning process.
