13249 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: What is the total cost, if any, of communications and public relations contracts entered into by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and provider?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) have not entered into any new communications and public relations contracts since 27 November 2023. However, an existing contract for advertising and marketing services for the New Zealand Traveller Declaration remains in place. I am advised that Customs is the provider of communications support to the Border Executive Board and the Secretariat as the servicing department. The Border Executive Board has not paid for any communications and public relations contracts.
