13211 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: Further to the Minister’s answer to Written Parliamentary Question 10255 (2024), does the Minister think that the presence of LGBTQ+ inclusive groups, like InsideOut, in schools are a positive influence for rainbow youth; if not, why not?

Hon Erica Stanford: I trust school boards to make the appropriate decisions for their communities as to the presence of any external groups in their school. Rainbow youth are not homogenous, they are as diverse in their backgrounds, beliefs, values, and experiences as any other group in society. I know that there are some rainbow youth who find the presence of LGBTQ+ inclusive groups in their school to be a positive influence, there may be other rainbow youth who hold a different view.
