13197 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What steps, if any, is the Government taking to reduce the need for patients to travel outside their region for MRI scans?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand is currently developing a Radiology Access Plan to identify where it needs to improve access to MRI scans.
