13170 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to Reply 11660 (2026), was any separate road safety risk assessment conducted specifically for the 37 individuals whose licences were converted to the wrong licence class, as distinct from those who provided fraudulent information; and were those 37 individuals subjected to the same testing requirements?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises me that there was not a separate road safety assessment conducted specifically for the 37 individuals. All affected licence holders were subject to the same testing requirements.
