13163 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to Reply 8830 (2026), between February 2025 and October 2025, did NZTA notify New Zealand Police or the National Intelligence Centre that individuals holding potentially fraudulent Class 2–5 licences may have been operating commercially on New Zealand roads?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises me that NZ Police was formally notified on 1 August 2025 of the evidence NZTA was seeking from affected individuals. NZ Police Road Safety Intelligence Team was formally advised of the affected licence holders on 18 November 2025.
