Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Infrastructure: How many, if any, of the investors or financiers who attended the New Zealand Infrastructure Investment Summit held in Auckland on 13–14 March 2025 have subsequently entered into formal procurement processes, expressions of interest, memoranda of understanding, heads of agreement, or signed contracts with the Crown or any Crown entity?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to the New Zealand Infrastructure Investment Summit Outcomes Report which was proactively released on the Treasury website at: https://www.treasury.govt.nz/sites/default/files/2025-10/infra-summit-t2025-1231.pdf At the Summit, delegates were encouraged to engage with key contacts including NIFFCo, NZTE and iwi investments. For the announced PPP projects and industry engagement processes, details for the Ministry of Corrections, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Transport, and the NZ Transport Agency were provided.
