Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Trade and Investment: What specific infrastructure projects, if any, are currently being marketed to offshore investors as a result of or following the New Zealand Infrastructure Investment Summit held in Auckland on 13–14 March 2025, and through which agencies or intermediaries are those approaches being made?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised InvestNZ has generated approximately 34 infrastructure-related leads and projects. Most project details are commercially sensitive, and are not in the public interest to release. Three public examples include: • Yinson Renewables investing in New Zealand with a pipeline of wind projects totalling around 1 gigawatt. • Aventuur investing in New Zealand’s first surf park with solar infrastructure and a data centre to power the precinct. • Aquila Capital which has committed to the development of six solar sites.
