13103 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What is the technological solution to the end-of-life Police Infringement Processing System needed to be completed before it will be possible to issue the new infringements set out in the Antisocial Road Use Legislation Amendment Bill?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the replacement technology solution, known as the ‘Police Infringement Management System’ (or ‘PIMS’), is a complete replacement of the current infringement processing system. The new technology solution will enable a greater array of infringement notices to be issued, strengthen data security, improve operational effectiveness, and provide digital self-service channels for the public.
