Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2023 in achieving the individual measure ‘The creation of definitive governance committees by July 2023’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Two governance committees for immunisation were established before October 2023 – the operational Immunisation Outcomes Collective and the strategic Immunisation Oversight Board. During the quarter October to December 2023, the Immunisation Outcomes Collective met twice and the Immunisation Oversight Board met once. A third group, the National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group, has been established to support the work of the other committees. During the quarter October to December 2023, expressions of interest for membership were sought.
