Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister for National Security and Intelligence: How frequently, if at all, does he meet with the Directors-General of the NZSIS and GCSB; and will the Hon Mark Mitchell attend or hold separate meetings with those Directors-General in his capacity as Associate Minister?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister and as Minister for National Security and Intelligence, I receive advice, and meet with a range of officials from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and approriate national security agencies as required. The Associate Minister for National Security and Intelligence, Hon Mark Mitchell, received his Ministerial Warrant on 7 April 2026, and the Associate Minister will also receive advice and meet officials as required. I will not comment further on intelligence matters.
