13013 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Statistics: What is the total amount, if any, spent on social media advertising and influencers by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and platform?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Stats NZ that a total of $1,250 was spent on social media advertising for the time period 1 November 2023 to 28 February 2025. Of this, $543 has been spent on Facebook advertising and $707 on Google advertising. There was no spend on social media influencers in this time period.
