Hon Scott Simpson: I have interpreted your question as pertaining to temporary accommodation for staff, contractors, or consultants working in areas different to their primary residence, for example on secondments. I am advised by ACC that this information would be stored in individual personnel files. Providing this information would require ACC to undertake a significant manual collation exercise, diverting staff from essential services. As per Speaker’s Ruling 185-6, the time and cost involved in answering this question are not justified in the public interest. However, ACC tell me that it would be rare to fund accommodation for staff, contractors, or consultants on secondments.
