12999 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What is the total amount, if any, spent on temporary accommodation for staff, contractors, or consultants by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and purpose?

Hon Chris Bishop: For the agencies for which I am responsible the Ministry of Transport has advised that this information has been provided as part of their Annual Review. The information can be found captured in response to Question 87, 98 and 101 in MoT's 2023/24 Annual Review, which is published at https://www.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCTIN_EVI_40abd764-2571-46be-bdbe-08dcf9f3b805_TIN2016/c8a4edffe2ba49969a1707a8659964dc98b04d86”. I am advised that NZTA has not directly spent any amount on temporary accommodation. Staff travelling for business generally utilise hotel or motel accommodation. Contractors working on behalf of NZTA may utilise temporary accommodation for their workforces, however this is not managed by NZTA.
