12968 (2024). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Were there any beneficiaries who stopped receiving a main benefit during the week of 13th May 2024, and if so, for what reason, if any, did they stop receiving a main benefit?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that they are unable to provide this data as the Ministry's standard reporting period is month end and quarter end. Regular reporting on main benefits, supplementary assistance, and sanctions is provided in the Ministry’s quarterly Benefit Fact sheets which are available on the Ministry’s website: www.msd.govt.nz/about-msd-and-our-work/publications-resources/statistics/benefit/index.html.
