12946 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: When, if ever, will New Zealand ratify the Agreement on Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, that New Zealand will ratify the Agreement following the enactment of the Bill required to implement it in New Zealand law.
