Cameron Brewer: As Minister, I do not determine whether particular conduct is misleading or deceptive under the Fair Trading Act 1986. That is a matter for the Commerce Commission, as the regulator, and ultimately for the courts. More broadly, measures such as unit pricing requirements support transparency for consumers by helping them compare products and understand changes in value.
