12940 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: If the Minister has read the Coroner's report into the death of a three-year-old due to accidental neck compression from a corded blind, what actions, if any, does he intend?

Cameron Brewer: I am aware of the Coroner’s report and acknowledge its recommendations in response to the safety of corded window coverings. I am currently considering advice from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment on the safety of corded window coverings.
