12930 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Has the Minister considered introducing an interim mandatory standard for corded blinds pending longer-term regulatory work; if not, why not?

Cameron Brewer: I am currently considering the advice from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment on the response to the safety of corded window coverings.
