12919 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Further to 4108, does the Minister believe that burden to taxpayers to implement mandatory product safety standards for corded blinds is too high for the deaths of children it would prevent; if not, does he support mandatory product safety standards for corded blinds?

Cameron Brewer: I am currently considering the advice from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment on the response to the safety of corded window coverings.
