12906 (2026). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister of Health: Does he stand by his answer to supplementary question in question No.11 on 12 March 2025 “yes” when asked if health care for all New Zealanders means making the life expectancy for Māori and non-Māori the same, if not why not?
Hon Simeon Brown: Yes, my priority is to ensure all New Zealanders have access to timely and quality healthcare. Achieving longer life expectancy and improved quality of life for all New Zealanders, including Māori, is a part of our focus on putting patients first.
