12885 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: What is the total cost, if any, of any agency-organised conferences, workshops, and training events under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and event?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) that from 27 November 2023, there have been no agency-organised conferences. The Ministry hosts various workshops online or in person with community groups and other agencies on programmes, funding opportunities, and work priorities, however the breakdown requested is not available. The Ministry delivers Yavu (Foundations of Pacific Engagement), and Kapasa (Pacific Policy Analysis) training sessions across a range of agencies and local government. At times these sessions may incur travel costs for staff delivering the training.
