12836 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: How many patients, if any, are currently on the gastroenterology waitlist in the MidCentral region?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as of 8 April 2026, MidCentral has 279 patients waiting for a gastroenterology first specialist assessment and 932 patients waiting for an endoscopy procedure.
