12831 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Justice: In response to Reply 9088 (2026), what is the average sale price of the seized vehicles through Automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) at a police auction?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The average sale price of seized vehicles through ANPR at auction is $1932.99. The vehicles are not sold at police auctions. The Ministry of Justice works with a contracted provider to organise the auction and sale of these vehicles.
