12822 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In relation to Written Question 3508 (2024), which of the WorkSafe criteria within the February 2019 position document "When Will WorkSafe Intervene" were not met and why?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that all the criteria were met and WorkSafe New Zealand did intervene in this matter in July 2019. The decision was to intervene by using its regulatory power to carry out a Workplace Assessment of Allied Work Force, Palmerston North. The investigation of the crash itself was done by the police serious crash unit and the WorkSafe workplace assessment followed.
