Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister for Tertiary Education: How many TEC funding panel decisions for new providers were reversed in the 2025 Investment Round and for each such decision, what the name of the provider, how much funding was approved by the panel and how much funding was ultimately approved?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been informed by the TEC that there were two decisions reversed. The Teachers' Institute: Funding recommended by Panel - $0 Funding Approved - $754,000 Te Whare Mairanga o Nga Kura a Iwi: Funding recommended by Panel - $0 Funding Approved - $305,050
