Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister for Tertiary Education: What were the names of all of the schools that supported The Teachers’ Institute’s proposed delivery model contained in its application for funding in the TEC’s 2025 Investment Round and what schools or organisations, if any, submitted against funding The Teachers’ Institute proposal?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been informed by the Tertiary Education Commission in the Teachers Institute’s application for funding they advised their programmes had been developed with 11 founding secondary schools and a further 29 advising schools in Auckland. Schools that specifically mentioned in the Teachers Institutes application for funding were: Diocesan School for Girls, Auckland Grammar School and Epsom Girls Grammar School.
