12798 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister for Tertiary Education: How many, if any, funding applications for new providers did the TEC receive for the 2026 Investment Round and how many applications were approved in full?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been informed by the Tertiary Education Commission that they received 13 new provider applications for the 2026 Investment Round. Five were approved in full.
