12784 (2026). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for Energy: What are the current stock levels of marine fuel in NZ (including marine diesel, light fuel oil, heavy fuel oil and bunker fuel oil), listed by fuel type and stock level?

Hon Shane Jones: New Zealand does not have a specific grade of diesel for marine use: all diesel used in marine applications is automotive diesel. Fuel oil for marine use is imported by one company, and disclosing stock levels would breach commercial confidentiality.
