12780 (2026). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for Energy: What were the stock levels of marine fuel in NZ over the past 6 months (including marine diesel, light fuel oil, heavy fuel oil and bunker fuel oil), listed by fuel type and stock level?

Hon Shane Jones: New Zealand does not have a specific grade of diesel for marine use: all diesel used in marine applications is automotive diesel. Fuel oil for marine use is imported by one company, and disclosing stock levels would breach commercial confidentiality.
