Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence: How much of the $73.480 million allocated in Budget 2023 for Eliminating Family Violence and Sexual Violence over the forecast period has been spent and how much remains unspent, broken down by initiative?

Hon Karen Chhour: Budget 2023 allocated $73.480 million over four years in initiatives across five Votes to build on work underway to give effect to Te Aorerekura. As the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence I am responsible for the component allocated to the Vote Justice appropriation (Elimination of Family Violence and Sexual Violence), which was $3.994 million over four years. I refer the member to the attached table which shows the 2023/24 financial year actual spend to date and forecast spend for the remainder of the financial year.
