12718 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Children: What is the total cost, if any, of any agency-organised conferences, workshops, and training events under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and event?

Hon Karen Chhour: I refer the Member to question 99 of the 2023/24 Annual Review of Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children which will be publicly available on the Parliament website soon. I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that to provide this information for the specific date period requested would require significant manual collation. I am not prepared to ask this of my officials at this time. As such, in accordance with the Speaker’s Ruling 199-3, I consider that the time, and therefore the expense, of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest.
