12641 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Seniors: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2023, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that providing a breakdown of current Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees in relation to Budget 2022 or 2023 initiatives would require substantial manual collation and divert staff from their core duties as this information is not centrally recorded. It is also not possible to quantify the number of full-time equivalents that work on each initiative as an individual initiative may be worked on across multiple teams and agencies and vice-versa. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 185-4, I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this aspect of the Member’s question is not in the public interest.
