12637 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What percentage, if any, of the 80,700 people who exited welfare into employment in the year 2024/2025 have returned to welfare?

Hon Louise Upston: I refer the Member to the attached table, which provides the number of working age main benefit work exits in the period 01 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 and if they were granted a main benefit after work exit to end of February 2026.
