12635 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How often, if at all, are individualised Job Plans for people receiving Ministry of Social Development employment case management reviewed with the person, on average, as of 31 December 2025?
Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that guidance for case managers using Individual Employment Plans requires that activity timeframes are realistic and achievable for each client. Plans are reviewed every 28 days, providing an opportunity to assess progress and determine whether assigned activities remain appropriate given the client’s current circumstances. These regular reviews help ensure expectations are reasonable, support timely adjustments where needed, and keep clients on track toward their employment goals.
