12615 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Prime Minister: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Initiatives funded in 2022/23 and 2023/24 have the following Full Time Equivalents (FTE) working in these initiatives as at 31 March 2024:
- All of Government Coordination Unit COVID-19 RCOI Response: FTE = 5
- Christchurch Call Multi-Stakeholder Work Programme: FTE = 8.3
- Enhancing Critical Infrastructure Resilience: FTE = 8
- Establish Cyclone Recovery Unit: FTE = 30.4
- Implementation Unit: FTE = 4
- Response to Disinformation: FTE = 4
The following initiatives received time-limited funding in 2022/23 and therefore have no current FTE:
- Alternative National Crisis Management Centre
- Christchurch Call Research Partnership
- NEMA Extraordinary Response-Related Operating Expenditure
- NEMA NIWE 2023/24 Response and Recovery Funding
