Hon Chris Bishop: The following policy initiatives were funded for Vote Housing and Urban Development through Budget 2023: • Public Housing Supply - Maintaining delivery of Government Build Programme • Public Housing Supply - Additional 3,000 places • Māori Housing Supply, Capability Building and Repairs • Temporary Accommodation response to the Auckland flooding and Cyclone Gabrielle • Transitional Housing Motels - Extending Funding. There are no specific FTEs or teams working on the individual initiatives funded through Budget 2023. The initiatives funded provided additional funding for existing products and services, or the work was carried out by existing staff.
