12546 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: How many staff, if any, report to Treasury's Deputy Secretary - Chief Economic Advisor?

Hon Nicola Willis: There are three positions that directly report to Treasury's Deputy Secretary - Chief Economic Advisor and one position that has a 'dotted reporting line' (ie that position has dual responsibilities to two Deputy Secretaries). In total, there are 37 people (inclusive of the above) that report directly or indirectly to the Deputy Secretary – Chief Economic Advisor.
