12466 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Housing: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Chris Bishop: The following policy initiatives were funded for Vote Housing and Urban Development through Budget 2022: • Affordable Housing Fund • Emergency housing – Rotorua response • First Home Products • Homelessness Action Plan • Public and transitional housing – maintaining and increasing public, transitional and COVID-19 housing supply • Emergency housing – progressing work on system changes. There are no specific FTEs or teams working on the individual initiatives funded through Budget 2022. The initiatives funded provided additional funding for existing products and services, or the work was carried out by existing staff.
