12448 (2026). Lan Pham to the Prime Minister: Which Cabinet decisions, listed by title of the Cabinet Minute of Decision, during the period of the 54th Parliament, have NOT met Cabinet's impact analysis requirements for regulatory proposals?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. I am advised that from 27 November 2023 to 2 April 2026 there were 2,190 policy papers presented to Cabinet or a Cabinet committee. I consider that the time and resources, and hence the expense, required to identify and count the Cabinet decisions that have met or not met the requirements of Cabinet Office circular CO (24) 7: Impact Analysis Requirements within the timeframe allowed for written parliamentary questions is not in the public interest.
