12447 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: How many candidates, if any, were interviewed to the role of Chief Executive for the new Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport, and was Jeremy Lightfoot one of these candidates?

Hon Judith Collins: To protect the privacy of individual/s interviewed for the Chief Executive role, I will not be releasing the number of candidates interviewed for the role. However, I am advised that Jeremy Lightfoot was interviewed as part of the standard recruitment and appointment process.
