12446 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Associate Minister of Health: Does he believe limiting access to puberty blockers would be a form of denying health care to trans people?

Hon Matt Doocey: The Government asked the Ministry of Health to consult on whether there should be additional safety measures for prescribing puberty blockers. Submissions have now closed. The Ministry of Health is analysing the submissions that it received and will provide advice on next steps. A decision will be made in due course.
