12441 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: Were the people responsible for appointing the new MCERT Chief Executive Jeremy Lightfoot aware that he was subject to a 'mandamus order' in his current role as chief executive for corrections, and if so, why did the people responsible consider him a suitable appointtee for this role?

Hon Judith Collins: Yes and I am advised that the Chief Executive of Corrections has accepted the High Court’s findings and is taking steps to ensure full compliance going forward.
