12387 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Melissa Lee: The Ministry for Ethnic Communities (the Ministry) received funding in Budget 22 to strengthen outreach into emerging and harder to reach communities, build its data and analytics capability, and uplift its policy advice function to better enable the Ministry to influence the public service to deliver improved outcomes for ethnic communities. The Ministry currently has 3.8 FTE working in Analytics, Monitoring and Evaluation; 2 FTE in Talent and Intercultural Capability; and 6 FTE in Policy.
