12341 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2023, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency located within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through a Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not a Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 12615 (2024).
