12331 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is Health New Zealand currently requiring a Recruitment Business Case to be completed before any vacancy can be filled at Wellington Hospital, and if so, when was this requirement introduced?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Capital and Coast district has a pre-advertisement approval process which has been in place for many years. The current recruitment business case form has been in use since around October 2019, although it has been modified and updated since.
