12329 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Has he asked Kāinga Ora for updates and assurances on delayed or problematic projects that resulted in its reported capital underspend and if so, what updates and assurances, if any, did he receive?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is required to provide monthly reporting on key projects with a ‘High’ Risk Profile Assessment or whole of life cost of more than $35 million, as well as progress against the social housing delivery targets set out in the Letter of Expectation (LoE) and Statement of Performance Expectations (SPE).
