12320 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 7098 (2026), what were the key findings, if any, of Jacic Advisory Pty Ltd’s review of Kāinga Ora’s commercial management processes and what changes, if any, have been made to these processes?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that Jacic Advisory’s engagement resulted in free and frank advice to senior leadership over the course of the engagement. This advice supported the procurement function during an organisational restructure and informed improvements to efficiency, value for money, and capability. Advice led to improvements in Kāinga Ora’s commercial management processes and helped establish the consistent governance and controls to discretionary external spend. In total Jacic Advisory’s mahi was the driving force behind six improvement initiatives (projects) worth approximately $19m in potential savings. This is also my reply to Written Parliamentary Question 12321 (2026).
