12299 (2025). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What public private partnerships, if any, is the Minister currently considering within their portfolio area, listed by region, parties involved, and status?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery who is supported by the Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question WPQ 12493 (2025).
